We watched five days of Star Trek, The Original Series to celebrate the upcoming release of “Star Trek: Into Darkness.” All 80 episodes were viewed & voted upon by us (I made it for two out of five days) at CraveOnline Studios in Culver City, California. What a wonderful celebration of classic television – a medium I truly adore. The event was hosted by a couple of cool friends of mine, Brad Hansen and Athena Hansen (Stamos).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My love of this series is matched only by my love for ‘Lost.’ It is a rare sort of love affair that I have had scant few times in TV history, but great programming like this should be encouraged without limits. The inimitable John Noble becomes an indispensible fixture in his portrayal of both Dr. Walter Bishop & ‘Walternate’ – the version of the character from a parallel universe. I am posting some of my favorite moments from the show:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another ground breaking television show. I didn’t get hooked on this right away, but when I got sucked in, I was a goner. I’m uploading the segment that made me a believer in this series. This is our first introduction to an existing inhabitant of the island – he lives underground…it is our second introduction to the character “Desmond” portrayed by the great Ian Cusick. That is all I will say – this is the  Season 2 introduction to the show:
